Undead Invasion is a small 2025 survival shooter where everything happens on one narrow road. There’s no wandering around or exploring; zombies just start walking toward you, and you deal with it as best you can. It feels more like holding a line than playing a big zombie game. Each run is short and kind of stressful in a good way, because the pace picks up fast and every tiny mistake matters.
New Defence is the calmer one. The map is bright, the field is wide open, and you start with a basic handgun. It eases you in, even though the zombies still show up pretty fast. What happens next depends on what weapons you unlock, so every attempt plays out a bit differently.
Playground is the tougher mode. It’s darker, foggy, and the lane feels tighter. You start with two weapons here, which helps, but the atmosphere makes aiming harder. This mode punishes slow reactions, so it’s better once you know the rhythm of the game.
The gameplay is simple: hold the lane, shoot early, and don’t let anything touch you. Zombies don’t all move the same, so you end up reacting to whatever mix you get. Sometimes they drift in slowly; sometimes one of them sprints forward and ruins your plan. Reload timing matters a lot. If you wait until the last second, you usually lose.
Controls are straightforward mouse to shoot, space to kick, R to reload, Q/E to swap weapons, and 1 for bombs. After a few rounds, you stop thinking about it. Before starting a level, you can pick your character’s gear in the settings, which helps shape the run.
