Poor Bunny came out in 2019 from Adventure Islands. It’s just you, a tiny bunny, and a single screen full of carrots and traps. The whole thing is fast you spawn in, start hopping around, and stuff immediately tries to kill you. It feels like a classic arcade game where the point isn’t to win but just to see how long you can last before everything goes wrong.
You move left and right, jump, and grab carrots. That’s it. Every carrot gives you a point, and more traps keep spawning the longer you stay alive spikes shoot out of the floor, saws fly around, things drop from the ceiling. It starts slow but ramps up fast, so you’re constantly dodging and thinking about where to jump next.
There’s only one map, just a single screen, so you’re always right in the action. That makes it fun because you can’t really hide anywhere you have to keep moving. The more you play, the more you notice patterns and get better at predicting where the next trap will appear.
