Stickman War released in 2021 from a small indie team, and it’s pretty much a quick strategy battle game where everything happens faster than you expect. Units run at each other on their own, so most of the game is deciding what to send out and when. It feels light at first, but the match gets crowded fast, and suddenly the fight becomes way more intense than it looks.
Gameplay in Stickman War is mostly about watching your coins go up, picking the next unit, and trying to guess what the other side is about to send. It’s easy to get into the rhythm where you’re just dropping troops one after another and hoping your line holds. The small things matter though like the moment your upgraded unit finally joins the fight and the whole wave shifts in your favor. The game has that just one more round pull because matches are short and it’s fun to see your side slowly push forward.
A lot of players try to spam the strong units right away, but spreading coins across a few cheaper soldiers helps way more early on. The cheap ones hold the front long enough for upgraded ones to actually make a difference. Another thing that helps is paying attention to the gaps between units. Sending everything at random makes your side fall apart faster. Saving coins for one big upgrade at the right time usually gives a better push than spending constantly. Little timing choices like this end up deciding the whole match.
